I am originally from Gin Gin a small town 40 mins from Bundaberg and have lived in the Wide Bay region for greater than 20 years. On the weekends I like to go to the gym and enjoy spending time with friends. I began studying physiotherapy due to a background in fitness and massage, and really enjoy helping people to achieve their goals. My interests lie in neurological conditions and the mechanisms behind acute and chronic pain.
Allied Health Assistant
Certificate IV Allied Health
I have lived locally for 14 years, and have three young daughters.
Through raising our children, we sought the expertise of many Allied Health Professionals to assist one of my daughters with a variety of disorders and developmental delays. It was during this period as a stay at home mum that I took the opportunity to begin my studies in Cert 4 Allied Health.
During our many years of therapy, I saw the role as an Allied Health Assistant plays on the client, their families and alleviating a small portion of the workload for clinicians. Now I get the opportunity to pay it forward in an approach that embraces my experience as an AHA and a mother.
In my down time I enjoy going to the beach with my family and baking.
